No news yet on the conference call, with results to be posted on lsusports.net immediately after the conference call. Game time will see heavy rain bands, that means on and off rain, and 25 mph winds with gusts to 35, no fun for anyone, but advantage LSU with a strong armed QB throwing in that stuff. Keep checking lsusports.net for updates.
Ott's show just had Herb Vincent. Officials have had one preliminary conference call/meeting so far. In about 30-45 mins they will have another one. Herb said there may or may not be a decision today. They are still discussing things. He did say he would call into Ott's show again once they are done.
I hope they don't make a decision today. I'd rather them wait till morning and see what's up with Rita.
As great as it would be to wait, they also need to let the Tennessee fans know if they need to come down. I have complete respect for LSU and am not trying to talk trash. But I live in NC, huge Tennessee fan, and I dont want to travel down there unless there is goign to be a game. So preferably they will have a decision by early tommorow morning
It's usually available @ thescore1210.com but earlier all they were streaming was news and press conferences from N.O.
I understand your concerns, but frankly I'm not concerned with how many Tenn. fans can make it, and I don't think our AD should be either. No one was concerned with me losing 300$ and not being able to attend when our game was moved across the country on 4 days notice
Way to remain positive. :thumb: ....Since Rita is supposed to make landfall around Saturday morning (or as early as late Friday night), it's very possible that they could just move the game back to Sunday.
