If the Obama Administration, now a part of history, erected a statue in your town depicting, say, a white man embarrassing himself at the feet of a black man, begging forgiveness, maybe... would you just accept it? Would you tell your children "hey, you shouldn't be offended, that's just a part of history"? OF COURSE YOU WOULDN'T.
Prove that those men are depicted in Confederate uniforms? Prove that those men were fighting to keep black people enslaved? Prove that black people in this country at the time most of those statues were erected didn't share equal rights? LOL. Get outta here.
