History is in the process of being rewritten. We are 33 years past 1984. But almost everything is recorded somewhere either written or digitally so maybe some future historian will tell the story of the rise and fall of America. Millions have fought and died to preserve our way of life and Rex and his ilk are doing their best to delete all those files. May they all suffer everlasting torment in the deepest pit of Hell.

All great empires have a shelf life. We cannot keep walking down the same road we're on now. Just look at last year's Presidential election. Really, America? Those two idiots were the best our country has to offer?

    If so, we're really done.

It's being rewritten right before our very eyes. The Civil War was a much more complex issue than to reduce it to offensive statues by most who take little account of themselves much less their own history.

It's not a slippery slope. It's an avalanche of American destruction that has no finality til theres nothing left to blame. Except the one standing in the mirror.

But then the mirror will be deemed offensive.

I was a history minor and definitely learned that the Civil War was not fought solely over slavery. It was so much more complex than that. But find 10 people on the streets that know anything about any of the reasons for the war (except for white racists wanting to own slaves.)

I suppose the biggest problem (or one of them) is the idea that people should not and cannot be offended. It started with the political correctness movement in the early 90's and has now snowballed out of control.

I just read an article that says that FuKing Alexander has been thinking about a way to rename anything on the LSU campus associated with any Confederate name, such as Rafael Semmes St. I also found out that LSU has an "Office of Diversity."
When will somebody put their foot down and say enough is enough?

The futures uncertain and the end is always near, so let it roll baby roll.

Sorry darling but you are simply wrong. After 8 years of Obama we were in need of an abrupt turn to the right as we were skidding off to the left side of the road. We also needed a non politician and a businessman. Trump an idiot I think not. Obama and Bill Clinton has shown us that great speakers doesn't mean great leadership and policies, in fact with those two just the opposite. Trump may be a bit frank and a bit crude at times but not the absolute liars Obama and both Clintons are. For instance a phony politician, that we have sadly become used of, would have told us that Charlottesville's voilence was only one sided which as we know now was an absolute lie. Instead of lying to us to appease the left and avoid controversy Trump manned up and told the truth and called out all all violent and hatefull groups. I watched 5 amateur videos showing what happened in Charlottesville and what I saw was Antifa and BLM instigating all the voilence. Yes we all abhor the kkk and neo nazi's but you don't beat up people for their beliefs no matter how bad those beliefs may be. I don't believe in abortion but that doesn't give me the right to beat up pro abortion believers. To simply ignore a violent fascist anarchists group like Antifa and a violent cop hating group anarchists group like BLM would be a travesty.

Sorry but niether Trump nor Hillary are idiots. Hillary is a cunning lying decietful marxist power hungry leftist that would take us to nanny state socialism as swiftly as possible. Trump is an ultra successful savvy blunt speaking businessman that refreshingly lacks phony oratory skills of liars like Bill and Obama. We have had 25 years to know who Hillary is and it aint pretty. We had 8 yeas to see what a lying community agitator and Alinski decible that Obama was. We have had a mere 200 days of Trump I am very happy with what he has and is trying to do.

Such stupidity. No, black Americans did not fight to erect and keep up Confederate statues. Most white Americans didn't either.

Here's an inscription on the Battle of Liberty Place Monument, recently removed from New Orleans... AS IF this sort of message should ever be sponsored by any level of American government or countenanced by any American citizen:

McEnery and Penn having been elected governor and lieutenant-governor by the white people, were duly installed by this overthrow of carpetbag government, ousting the usurpers, Governor Kellogg (white) and Lieutenant-Governor Antoine (colored).

United States troops took over the state government and reinstated the usurpers but the national election of November 1876 recognized white supremacy in the South and gave us our state.

The one thing that we have in our favor that Rome had working against them is the fact that armies during the First Triumvirate were starting to be more loyal to individuals like Caesar, Pompy Magnus, and Crassus, instead of being loyal to Rome.

At this very moment, workers are covering the Robert E. Lee statue in Charlottesville. Peaceful gathering, mostly quiet... a bit of cheering.
