Not that I accept your story as true, because many fables become attached to historical figures, but even IF true, NO, sorry, it doesn't provide what I asked you for. There is no apology there, there is no sign of regret, there is no admission of guilt. "Reconciliation" is a far cry from any of those redemptive things. For example, you should now reconcile yourself to the fact that you're getting your ass kicked here.
The whole lot of you Confederate apologists reek of dishonesty. Lee's statue was erected as a deliberate affront to black people seeking equality in this country, and it's pure BULLSHIT that none of those people objected to the Confederate statues as extensions of evil as they were being built.

Point taken but free speech is supposed to be a cornerstone of this country. And there is speech that is not at all pretty but if its to be free then some thick skin has to come with that package. Of course you do not tolerate behavior but you cannot control thought anymore than you can control the weather. My 2 cents.
