What a dumb fucking argument. For every crime thwarted by a gun an opponent can point to hundreds committed with one.
That's a false equivalence troll. Concealed carry requires training and certification. Concealed carry licensees are law abiding citizens who follow the law. A very significant majority of gun crimes you refer to are by criminals with no license and/or who have purchased guns illegally, stolen them or would be legally denied access. If you want to make an argument over access to guns that's one thing. To use your statistics as you did is a lie. Of course since Trump is now your buddy, you approve of lying don't you.
The better to own a gun with all those pistol packing criminals on the loose. Better to have one and not need it than to need one and not have it. When seconds count the police are only minutes away
You wouldn't know the truth if it smacked you in the face. The truth of the matter is just as I said: for every crime thwarted by a gun many more are committed with them. That's just an irrefutable FACT. There are other compelling pro-gun arguments, and I made none either pro or con, but to claim that the crime rate is lowered because an occasional gun criminal is killed by a licensed gun carrier is just stupid. And if you can't follow that simple logic then I fear you are, too. Well, strike that... I had already concluded it.

Doesn't that tell you that there are an awful lot of bad guys running around with guns even if they got them illegally? If no law abiding citizens had guns then even fewer crimes would be thwarted and more would be committed by bad guys who knew they had nothing to fear. If a crook broke into one of your neighbors house and killed him because he was unable to defend himself wouldn't it make you feel safer if you had a gun in your house?
