Since other stuff has not been real successful, I would like to see MANDATORY LIFE SENTENCE for anyone convicted of any crime using a gun or facsimile thereof one.
That's crazy. Since in some states even possessing a concealed or even unlicensed firearm is a crime you would put anybody who broke those laws behind bars forever. And haven't you ever heard of some homeowner being charged with a crime for doing what common sense should tell you should be a legal defense of self or family? Let the punishment for the crime. There is a big difference between some screwed up 18 year old robbing a convenience store with a toy gun and a gang of full grown career criminals holding up a bank with AK-47s.

Boils down to liberal politicians and liberal celebraties who either have massive state and federal law enforcement protecting them or have personal bodyguards are the ones who want to take away our rights to defend ourselves and loved ones.
