I love me some Joe, but put it to you like this.

Burrow is tied for 3rd on the all time passing yardage list. Despite playing at least one more game than any of the other 3 (2 ahead and 1 tied).
He broke the TD record by 2, again with an extra game from the guy he beat.

Barry has a 4 TD lead. In 3 fewer games than anyone else even remotely close to him. No one else has 30 in fewer than 14 games. He had 37 in 11 games.
He’s only up by 50 yards on second place. But Melvin Gordon got his in 14 games. Only other person to top 2,500 (Kevin Smith) also took 14.
    Barry did it in 11.

Dude was seriously just unreal how far ahead of his peers he was.

They used to say that about the Saints too.
I'm not trying to slight him at all. He's probably the best football player in the history of the game, college and pro. But for the sake of this discussion, Burrow's dream season was played against stronger competition. That's not to say that Barry didn't face defenses with a stacked box selling out to stop the run because he obviously did and they still couldn't stop him.

Yep... Best rb in my lifetime... Well, him and Bo but we didn't get to see him long enough... I know emmitt has the record but he's not even in my top 10... Matter of fact, imo, he's not even the best cowboys rb... That would be one Anthony Dorsett... If we were picking players like we used to do as kids I would go; Barry, the Juice, Sweetness, Dickerson, Dorsett, Campbell, Marcus, Marshall, LT & AD...

You've got an excellent list and I pretty much agree with the order.

    Probably Earl ahead of Dorsett.

I think Bo would’ve been the greatest ever had he stayed healthy. I’ve never seen someone that big and fast since. He was on a different level. My all time favorite running back.

I’m not gonna say he was better at baseball but he was great at both.

Thought I'd never see the day you would be gushing over a barner, but here it is.

Yep... I remember when we were playing the raiders one year and Bo had 2 carries for 40+ yds in the first quarter... Luckily for us he pulled a hamstring or he probably would've run for 250 that day...
