I agree with Get Back to Work..... Let's do what's best for the team.

On a side note, did anyone see that bizarre sideline interview from the Rose Bowl, with Matther McConnahey, where he is talking about UT and Michigan playing on real or natural grass.... It is Hillarious. I thinks he was hoping he could smoke some after the game.

Can someone posts one of those polls on "field turf" vs. "grass" for 2006?

Forrest Gump might have them roll back the cover on the field and let 'em play ball ... LSU's advantage & strength is in their conditioning (Moffet & Co) and freedom from injuries that plague other teams (karate, stretching, etc)

Grass!!! With the new "state of the art" aerated and trickle irrigation system combined with field covers ... TIGER STADIUM WILL BE THE BEST

    Screw the turf ... injuries!!!

Let the dumbass arguments begin ... Saban made the call on the turf ... and it's gonna happen ... But, what the **** does Nick Saban know about playing surfaces

That newest field turf is awesome to play and walk on...all that matters is how it benefits the team. What fans think of it is not worth considering.

As long as the LSU Tigers are on the field, I can care less. Honestly, I'd rather them play on natural grass, but if they go with field turf, all we can do is say GEAUX TIGERS!

I know for a fact that Saban did not want Field Turf in Tiger Stadium.

Bad thing about the turf is getting used to running on it. It is VERY HOT in daytime and warm climate
as the black rubber pellets turn it into a skillet. My son, a TCU WR a broke small bone in his foot this summer during practice when his shoe stuck in the turf..............a common problem with field turf. We also lost a very good CB in 2004 to ACL with samething, shoe got stuck and knee popped. It has its advantages
in severe rain, most HS in DFW area all have turf and the drainage keeps the field very dry in bad weather.

I guess it takes time to adjust to the style required to run on it.
