I always cheer for the SEC against non-conference opp. Yes the "Best team in the SEC" is truly NOT the best team in the SEC but they are still SEC. Geaux Auburn.
If you root for AU then you're rooting for AU to end the season ranked ahead of LSU. You're also rooting for LSU to end the season ranked one place lower. Now how can you justify that?
We should have sent Vandy or Ole Miss to represent the SEC for this bowl - I think either would have looked better than Auburn today. Best team in the SEC?? Gimme a break!
End of season rankings ? Who cares. Auburn will be ranked ahead of us next year, so I root for the SEC What is sad Wisconsin is ranked 100th in defense and the Big 10 was 0-4 I believe in Bowl games so far. The conference is a joke. Come on Auburn !!!! Geez SEC was going to end up 4-1 in Bowl games. Could have been 5-0 had USC not blown a 21 point lead.
The game just ended and there is already 9 pages of meltdown on AUTigers.com. It makes our disappointment after the SECCG look positive.
Sure it does. However, were you willing to sacrifice being ranked one place higher and having us ranked ahead of AU not only this season but maybe even preseason next season in order to make the SEC look better?
They looked as bad as we did in the SECCG. Very disappointing performance from AU. But, on the bright side, they will not be ranked ahead of us. I was pulling for them though.
