Self Imposed Queen of Tiger Forums posting fashion statements here............guys, guys, guys..it is most important what you wear to a game. If you are a #1 Tiger Fan, you will wear the same shirt, socks and even underwear to each and every game. If we lose while wearing above, then crap.......wash the outfit and wear it again. I agree that gold shirts look the best on TV and especially when they hand out the gold pom poms (don't tell me that is for kids and sissies). Again, I agree that a white out game should forever be banned in Tiger Stadium for obvious reasons. Although I will be wearing a white t-shirt with an autographed pic of Nick saying: "A Night With Nick" on the front and Tiger Stadium on the back......it's not really a white out shirt. I'm very superstitious Tiger Fan and have several items that I must wear to each and every game. I have passed this gene on to my kids and they thank me seasonally for it, especially their wives! LOL
Moo State is giving away 55,000 to 60,000 tee shirts at tomorrow's game. They will all be maroon. Each will say, " Maroon is the only color that counts." Or something like that. It is a reference to Croom's quote when asked, at his first press conference, how he felt being the first black head coach in the sec. His answer was something like "the only color around here is maroon." IF---MSU paid $4.00 per tee shirt, they spent almost 1/4 million on free tees. They want the nation to see total maroon when the tv cameras scan the stands. Jackson paper said they were being stored in three 18 wheelers. ALL different sizes.
Each will say, " Maroon is the only color that counts." Strike out Maroon and add purple.........but I do agree!
