That's right Red.. We didn't have a choice. It was either accept or leave the conference. I think you can gage how LSU felt about it by Les's talk at the SEC media days and on ESPN. Les has power at LSU but I bet he didn't make those comments without review and input from the Athletic director. Your comment is BS Terry. Typical gump denial.

Why don't you give it a rest. So you don't like Terry, we get it. Most of the rest of us do and appreciate an outside viewpoint. I don't agree with him on this issue either . . . but he's not a moron.

Dude, enough with the name calling. Terry is a good poster, he just has screwed up allegiances.

I never said he wasnt a good poster. Just completely oblivious to the facts as it concerns his own team, ergo moron. Glad you and Red can cast the first stone.

Much like the continuing assertion there's a conspiracy within the SEC offices that favor one team—when there are 13 other teams that would object if their administration felt the same way—lacks veracity.

I see it as cooler and calmer head prevail when decisions are being made. A trait that goes against the term fan, derived from fanaticism.

If our two roles were reversed I suspect we'd both feel the same way.

At season's end, I doubt there will be much of a difference on which avenue carries games more for one team than another.

As many fans are- taking that at face value.

But furd, noboby argues with Terry more than red so don't take that-or this- as a pile on. Just trying to keep level-headed discussion here. I've found, over the years, that debating with posters who have strong allegiances to other teams, can be quite educational. It's really opened my eyes to a lot of things.
