You all should be ashamed of yourselves. If your comments are racially motivated, I feel sorry for your children and your parents. I know some of you will come back at me with things like: how you don't like being pc, or how this game will not get any national attention, or there aren't any story lines, but I can tell by some of your posts, that your reasons originate from hate. Grow up!!!
Here's my take on the Bayou Classic, this year. I absolutely hate the fact that two Louisiana state run universities decided to play its BIG game outside the state, really bothers me and that has nothing to do with race and everything to do with PRIDE in our state. Also, for the life of me I really also wish the SWAC would force Grambling and Southern to play the Bayou Classic a week earlier. That way, when one of the schools is the SWAC Champion they could participate in the Div. I-AA playoffs. The Bayou Classic makes a lot of money for both schools but as a college football fan I'd love to see the likes of Bruce Eugene and the high flyin' G-Men take on the likes of Montana, Delaware or Appalachian State. Look at Nicholls, the Colonels won the Southland Conference and travel to South Carolina to take on Furman. Be really nice to see more than one of the Louisiana funded state schools participating in the I-AA playoffs.
I think most of these post are just poking fun at the game. There's nothing wrong with bashing a pair of in state schools whose battle of the bands is more interesting than their football game.

I like the idea... what i dont like is that the only time in history that this could happen is with the game outside of New Orleans (and houston has been courting the game for a few years now... i wouldnt be suprised if it never is played in new orleans again.. )
