College Gameday in Oxford...any chance???

    You know, there is starting to be a small grumbling over Peyton's "incident" up here. Especially since one of his teammates seems to be backing his accuser.

    Gameday is NOT coming to Ole Miss for one simple reason: the game is being televised on CBS, a rival network. ESPN is owned by the same conglomerate that owns ABC.

    ESPN certainly won't promote a game on another network--this costs them ratings, which translates into money for advertising spots. They will go wherever their marquee ABC or ESPN game is located.

    You have a short memory... The LSU/Georgia game was a CBS game.

    I believe if was Harvard/Penn...But, yes, they WOULD do something stupid like that.

    Although, like people have been saying, they've visited Ohio State and Michigan already, and if they don't like visiting the same site twice, then I would think that a battle between LSU and Ole Miss to decide the SEC West, would be the choice.
