I think there is a good chance they will be in Oxford. Other than OSU-Michigan, the only other place I see they could go would be Oklahoma-Texas Tech, and I don't see how they would justify that. Unless they do some dumbass crap like Harvard-Yale. Didn't they do that last year or something?

if LSU wins...Gameday will come to Oxford. The game to determine the SEC west champs, and a BCS game of major implications.........they will be all over it. Maybe Trev will make a guest apperance for Tiger Educated

If we take care of business at Alabama, Gameday is coming to Oxford for the Ole Miss/LSU game. For the following reasons:

    1. We will be #3, possibly #2 in the country, and Ole Miss could be ranked as high as #12 or #13, depending on how many teams ahead of them lose this week.

    2. It will decide the SEC West, and have BCS and national title implications.

    3. Eli Manning is in the thick of the Heisman Trophy race, and ESPN has quite a love affair going with the Manning quarterback clan.

    4. College Gameday has never been to Oxford. They've been to Ohio State/Michigan at least twice in the last five years. They've already been to Ann Arbor once this season.

    5. This is an old school, old hatred SEC rivalry. They love that kind of tradition, it gives them all kinds of angles and side stories.

    6. Ole Miss is one of the better stories in college football this season, accomplishing far more than they were expected to. We are also having an awesome year, and if Ohio State and USC fall, the spotlight will finally shine on us as national title contenders. Even if Ohio State and USC don't lose, we'll be getting lots of attention.

    7. Intriguing matchups abound. Will Eli Manning be able to move the ball against our excellent defense? Will Ole Miss' absolutely horrible defense be up to the challenge of stopping our young backfield and our great receiving trio?

I think they'll be coming to watch us. But we had better handle Alabama. We have to avenge our humiliating loss from last year and pop the Tide before we can start thinking about the Rebels.

NO WAY. I WISH. HAD OLE MISS NOT DROPPED TWO SURE TOUCHDOWN PASSES IN THEIR TWO LOSSES, AND IF LSU HAD PLAYED TIGER BALL IN THEIR LOSS TO FLORIDA....MAYBE. THERE WOULD SURE BE PRESSURE ON THEM TO DO SO. NOW I THINK WE WILL JUST BE LUCKY TO GET IT TELEVISED.

Lucky to get it televised??? Its the SEC Game of the Week on CBS, ahead of the Iron Bowl. This has Gameday written all over it the more I think about it.

I agree DDTigerfan. The more I think about it and the more I hear, I think if LSU can win this weekend Gameday will be in Oxford..I also just heard on a radio show in Mobile that if LSU wins that Gameday should be in Oxford.

I know most Ole Miss fans want LSU to lose this weekend so they can already claim the SEC West...but IMO if I were an Ole Miss fan I would want LSU to win and set up the biggest football game in MANY years to be played in Oxford....Its going to be awesome if LSU can win this weekend and Gameday goes to Oxford.

This could be the biggest crowd in the history of Ole Miss, Gameday on campus, and Eli's last home game! Who wants to crash the party and watch a Tiger victory with me?!?!?
