Flame me all you want. The only thing I use ESPN for is the NFL. There's no need for me to get angry by seeing all the pro Pac-10 and USC stuff... Any time they reference USC's 2003 season, they say "national champs," but when I've heard them refer to LSU's 2003 season, they say that it was a shared title. I guess I should be used to it.
if ur from san jose, i can understand your pain completely. out here in california we get enough of it, we dont need it from the national media which should be completely unbiased.
possible, but the bluegrass was because of the situation in the game. first of all, last second, second, the fans had already stormed the field, coach gatorade-d, etc. your point is legitimate about ASU but there was time left. in louisiana, it was easily one of the biggest plays in college football
Amen, brother. I can't tell you how many times I see USC jerseys and other crap like that around here. I wear an LSU hat ever day of my life, unless I'm at work. I wish there were more people like me around here. One guy came through my checkstand the other day with an LSU polo on, and I got really excited. I had asked him about his shirt and he said that he went to school there (and later said he was from Louisiana). He was VERY unenthusiastic. His credit card had the Toonces logo on it and I asked him if he liked it and he said that he didn't erally care. Oh well. He did say his daughter was coming in to visit during the summer break from LSU.
i swear, seeing the people with 3-pete shirts, i honestly lose a ton of respect when i kno they arent fans.ugh it really gets on my nerves, ppl dont get it out here. honestly, at my school, i kno one other die hard fan and he is actually a UCLA fan. but of course the day of the rose bowl, everybody had their little usc crap that they just bought a 7-11 to look cool and the next day they were talking about "their boy" vince young. cant wait till i go to LSU
