Guys, the rankings at this point are for entertainment purposes only. This weekend is an elimination game. If they lose, they are out. If we lose, we can still get in, but we need help. We probably won't get it, but it will be decided on the field. The team that wins the SEC is gonna be in. Everybody else is probably gonna be out. That's the way it should be.
turn off your tv. youre starting to believe their bullshit. florida blew out ole miss who is their one common opponent. bama lost to ole miss at home. UF's only loss is to the #2 team in the country yet bama is 4 and florida is #10. UF should be 4 BEFORE bama gets anywhere near it. i want the bcs back.
theyve set up bama to get another mulligan just like in '11. this isnt about ratings for this weekend or any of that nonsense. its about them sucking off saban out of fear and too much respect.
We can eliminate Bama Saturday night and put them behind us for the remainder of the season by beating them at their place, once again. And I predict we win.
Dude, the BCS was awful. We have it in our hands...On Saturday. We win, they are out. If we lose it's no longer in our control. Simple as that. If Florida wins the East then wins the SEC title game, they are gonna be in, also. It's gonna work out the way it should. The poll last night meant nothing except to get people more exited about the game on Saturday.
Bcs worked out great for us. And no it was about propping up Bama 4 and notre dame 5. Both have a loss btw Florida is 10th in case you missed it. Also I'm the first one to say in this thread it will work itself out Saturday so obviously that's not my argument.
It wouldn't be a bad loss per se. Just a heartbreaking loss that I really can't imagine having to endure. I'll have to decompress for a day or two if we lose.
No, what was before the BCS was awful. The BCS was actually pretty damn good. In fact, I wish they would use the BCS rankings for the playoffs. This selection committee will be gone soon. This first poll is the reason why. No matter how hard you try, you can't get past your personal biases.
