Yeah, but I mean as growing as a QB in a system. He just seems a little slow to grasp the offense and struggles with reads. I imagine with a better line, he could grow. Dunno, just expected a little better out of him at this point, but I am sure there are a multitude of contributions that make it seem that way.
That’s fair. I think Gus’s system is awful for passing QB’s. When he lets Nix just drop back and pass, he’s not bad. Gus just has al these crappy design plays that, quite frankly, just don’t work lol. So Nix is left choosing between various covered receivers or throwing a designed screen that is automatically shut down.
