    When Oregon superstar, Sabrina Unesco, graduates, Nike will create a huge marketing campaign, that will make her the face of women's basketball worldwide,.. now they'll do it while the kids in school,.. come to Oregon, your face will be in all the magazines and a thousand commercials,.. be a Duck,.. you'll make millions

    So what. One girl makes a lot of money. Do you think Nike is going to pay all of her teammates in whatever sport she plays anything besides maybe some free shoes and T shirts?

    Nike could put the whole Oregon team in the marketing campaign and pay them all Kap money, and Nike would make a profit,.. they are that good

    how's Iowa State, Washington, or LSU gonna compete against that?

    They could but they won't. Nike spends their endorsement money in a manner aimed at increasing profits. Jordan, Tiger Woods, even Kapernick was decided that making them the focus of an ad campaign and the faces of Nike would increase profits. Nobody has ever heard of this Unesco girl but she is probably the best at whatever sport she plays, Nike can use her to sell a lot of shoes to the segment of the market that values diversity. Is she black? Is she pretty? Betting that she is both. Women of all races and political persuasions buy shoes too. All it takes for Nike to benefit is one outside of the box signee, not dozens of already well known faces of their sport like their recent signee Zion Williamson.

    Nike already gives them tons of products, so many shoes that the compliance office keeps them in special lockers, and the players, and cheerleaders, have to sign in to use them and sign off when they bring em back,.. keeps the kids from selling them, special edition Nike's sell for a thousand bucks plus
