I can accept what you are saying and agree with some of this.

I think your heart is in the right place, and your head is too, but I am absolutely unable to understand the relevance of this question.

Don't know a lot about the genocide, other than it was a bad, bad thing, but possibly you are suggesting the Belgians were solely responsible. Or are you pointing out that the US did minimal, less than minimal, to intervene. The latter would appear to be counter to the dreaded colonization word, but I don't know.

Prior Belgian rule, a catalyst, but clearly this was going bad, long before the white devils were involved.

Kind of hard to make that leap when the Hutu insisted they and the Tutsi were of two different races, trying to live and prosper on the same limited land, using the same limited resources. That damn R word again. I think we all know that when race is involved, things turn out less than optimum.

Anyway, an emotional topic for sure, but I have digressed and diverged a long way from the topic of Kaepernik. Sorry.

a lot of what you say is true, but a lot of it isnt true and misconceived. But we can move on. i thought we were discussing Africa and tribalism. maybe we were talking about Australia or Gondor.

Not many, all. All African nations, and all black nations.

Morocco might be the least corrupt African nation and they aren't even black. I think Ghana is the best black African nation, also Terrible.

Now you're just being antagonistic. Are you sure you are not a lawyer? The point is that in the 2 sports that offer full ride scholarships. football and basketball, the players are overwhelmingly black. Sure, it's probably true that most kids who sign with high profile programs, .ie, your LSU's, Alabamas
Florida State, Ohio State, etc really do believe they are on the golden road to NFL or NBA riches but what about the kids who sign with McNeese or Eastern Michigan or North Dakota State? Don't you think their main reason for playing is to get an education that in many cases their families would be unable to afford?

Another question but why do you think there are so few black Americans playing baseball? I don't follow baseball as much as I used to but I can't think of a single black superstar since Ken Griffey, Jr retired. Even at the HBCU level there are more white and Latino players than black. It's sad to think that there may never be another Willie Mays or Hank Aaron or even a Ken Griffey Sr. and Jr.

Edit: By the way, the last MLB game I attended was at the Ballpark at Arlington in 2012. There were quite a few black fans in the stands but almost all of them were older men. A few kids who were probably grandsons of the old guys but no teenagers or fans in their 20's, 30's, or 40's.
