Cold facts: Not Les's fault

    Absolutely amazing. We got rid of the meerkat offense precisely because it took too long to get plays from the sideline. And now we're right back to dealing with the exact same problem. Just incredible.

    Could it have been due to JL being in the game for a lot of the time, and maybe wasn't used to the new "system"? Just asking/grasping.

    According to a local sportscaster who was at the game, he has it from an "impeccable" source that on the last no-timed play in which Ridley scored, that Crowton wanted to send in four wideouts and call a pass play but Miles said "We're gonna run the damn ball." Take it for what it's worth.

    Would be crazy if true, although at that time, Miles wasn't wearing the headset I thought.

    I had heard that too. Maybe someone in the booth heard Crowton trying to get his play in, but the sideline headsets were off so Miles called the final play. Who knows? I don't think we'll ever know.
