When I was raised there was no I-10. At what is now the Henderson exit was a 2 horse race track. I lived about 4 miles north of there and I sure as hell ain't no Yankee.
That term is relative. If you want to say south of Alexandria, or perhaps, where the dirt turns red, that works too. Red stated that Coke has too much fizz. I look at the other side, in that Pepsi tastes like flat Coke.
It is true that Nawth Louisiana is essentially Baja Arkansas, but we still think that Yankees are people from north of I-20.
anyone who lives north of perkins rd in baton rouge might as well live under yankee stadium. damn yankees!
I was born in the old Our Lady of the Lake hospital that was located a couple of miles north of where I-10 is now but I was raised south of the 1-10 so maybe that is the reason I became a Yankees fan.
Diet Coke mixes beautifully with dark rum--lots of personal experience there... And, yes, Pepsi tastes like flat Coke. Love lots of fizz.
COKE!! but there was nothing better than than those little bottles, ice cold. I'll leave the RC and a moon pie to the older folks :hihi:
yep those 6.5 oz bottles were the best taking coke ever. Actually was different tasting than the rest. Now look in quick stops and there are 64-128 oz cups ( a gallon). Kinda explains how our society is such an obese one. A 55 gallon drum will be next.
They still sell coke in an 8 ounce bottle that is a lot better than in a can or a plastic bottle but its not as good as the old 6 1/2 ounce bottles.
