I have officially become addicted to Caribou coffee. My wife and I were in Atlanta back in August and tried it. Then I came across another one in Arlington, VA in November. I bought a bag of the whole bean Christmas Blend and brought home. Made the mistake of letting our friends try it and they came over and consumed most of it, so I ordered two more bags off the internet. I think they put something addictive in this stuff; I'm a cheap-o; splurging on coffee used to be buying Community instead of the Kroger brand at the store, but I'm hooked now and can't stop.:nope: And a tip; you don't need a fancy grinder, the blender works great. Only bad thing aout Caribou is they don't have any locations down south except Atlanta for now.

Oh, and fast food coffee, I'd go with Chik-Fi-la.

This is why I included the following disclaimer in the original post. I have one of those Cuisinarts too, and you're absolutely right. It's a fine piece of machinery.

I am something of a snob when it comes to coffee. Only Community Coffee/ dark roast for me. Hate Starbucks or any of that fast food coffee.

Well, I must be a snob too. I've never tried Starbucks- there are none for miles from here. :(

My God, Tigah. Where in the sticks do you live? Every major metropolitan area, and some not so major, have at least one Starbucks.

I prefer Starbucks only since it is about 1/2 mile from my store. But the Awful Waffle (AKA Waffle House) has good coffee....wait...maybe its only good at 3 in the morning. :dis::dis:

Between Mamou and Ville Platte..... I did think about this thread while in Lake Charles yesterday morning for the District Livestock Show. I saw a Starbucks and laughed. I almost turned in to go try a cup.......I'm so not the "Wordly type".

I was the same way but Starbucks hooked me by putting one in our Bass Pro Shop, then one in the local Kroger (really I got hooked on the mocha brownies and lemon pound cake). I very rarely go to Starbucks any more, but thats the way I got lured into the "premium" coffee market I suppose.
