Pepsi is terrible. I don't like drinking it at all. I also hate caffeine-free or diet drinks. I didn't vote because it really depends on what mood I'm in/what I'm eating. I used to be all-Spite, then all-Dr. Pepper, now I mix it up pretty regularly. I drink Dr. Pepper the least of the 3 now though, although I only go through 3 or 4 soft drinks in a week... not real good, but not as bad as a lot of people.
I wouldn't know it because I've never been there! I can't afford to go because the tickets are too expensive. Thats the good thing about Coors field, as bad as the Rockies are you can still afford to go to the games!
Diet Big K, the Kroger brand diet cola. It's a tad bit better than Diet Coke. I like Coke Zero sometimes as well.
Coke Zero. It tastes just like a regular coke but zero calories. It beats the hell out of a Diet coke. I haven't drunk sugar-water for 20 years. There is the equivalent of 12 teaspoons a sugar in a 12-ounce can of Coca-Cola Classic. Does anyone ever put 12 teasoons of sugar in their coffee or an iced tea?
Link Got to squash some myths here. Per the link, sugar weighs approx. 4.2 grams per teaspoon. The can of Coke in my pantry says it has 39 g of sugars (sugars is the key word). 39g/4.2 g/tsp = 9.28 tsp. Also, there is a heck of a lot of sugar in sweet tea, as compared to putting a couple of packets in your iced tea at the restaurant. Although I can't say how much relative to 9 or 12 tsp. I agree this is not far from 12 tsp. However, Cokes in LA contain a sweetener called high fructose corn syrup. Corn syrup is not nearly as sweet as regular table sugar (sucrose), and therefore, requires more per ounce of liquid to make the drink sweeter. If you have ever drank a Coke with real sugar, you will note how much sweeter it is. The irony in having high fructose corn syrup in Coke in LA is that while we are one of the major cane sugar producing regions in the entire country, we are not one of the areas that gets Coke made with real sugar. (I'd rather not get into the politics as to why we use high fructose corn syrup instead of sugar :angryfire ). Incidentally, if you have ever drank an Abita Rootbeer, it is one of the sweetest drinks on the market.:thumb:
It seems the colas get less sugar than the fruit drinks like Slice and grape soda with the full 12 teaspoons. But only a little less.
When I was in Denver I couldn't find Coke anywhere. It was Pepsi, Pepsi, Pepsi. Blahhhhh. I used to drink only Coca Cola Classic, but have started to partake in the Coke Zero. Stuff isn't bad.
