I'm thinking this too. Not a good sign as the way to change the "culture" is often times to change personnel. That's not gonna happen with the amount of games we win as far as coaching. I like that we are changing our approach on D. We have the athletes on offense, but we don't use them to the maximum abilities. This is why many were hollering for more passing earlier in the year. We knew we'd need it to beat Bama and when we needed it, it wasn't there. Our passing game is basically block for 5 seconds so a receiver can get 40 yards downfield and chuck it deep. No rhythm, no short or intermediate and no screen game.

I'll repeat what I posted early in the game thread. My wife never watches football; thinks its stupid. But, good wife that she is, she sat down and tried to watch with me for awhile. After our second three and out, she said,"If we gave the ball to someone other than number 7, Alabama might be surprised." If a complete non-fan can figure out our offense that quickly, why would anyone, least of all Les Miles, not be able to get that Nick Saban would figure it out long before that?

Wasn't that good but Harris did scramble a few times and bought himself time to throw. Complete a few and move the chains and maybe the running game opens up. We'll never know.

That pass to Fournette coming out of the backfield would have worked too, Fournette was wide open. Good offenses aren't scared to run the same play over and over as long as it's working, but our staff runs the same plays over and over that don't work, and ditch the ones that could. It's mind boggling.

The Bama staff is paid millions a year to put boulders in the road, too. We can't miss them all. Neither did Bama.

Our staff could at least attempt to go around. You yourself said they didn't make adjustments and they didn't plus the gameplan was shit from the start

Well, Cholly Mac had to play against Bryant, the winningest coach. Archer/Hallman/Dinardo played against Curry/Stallings/Dubose/Francionne. Only Stallings was any good . .. and we won 1 of 6 against him.

Sometimes you lose a game to a better team. All teams do. Even Bama.
