No Tubby just blames the voters for being stupid because they don't bow to the might of the Auburn Tigers...

"It's a little bit alarming that we would lose ground, but we also picked up some first-place votes in both polls, which shows that some people did pay a little bit of attention to what was going on," Auburn coach Tommy Tuberville said Sunday. "I think the voters will be a little more serious the next few weeks and look at things a little bit differently."

So, anyone that isn't voting for the Tigers just 1) aren't paying attention and 2) are not taking their jobs seriously. No, it couldn't be that there are two other teams with equal arguments for being in the Orange Bowl, is there Tubby?!

Personally, he can blame the voters for being stupid all he wants but, when it comes down to it, he can really blame the individual(s) that put the Citadel and sisters of the poor on his out of conference schedule. Now, that might be him, that might be his AD, either way, it is all on their own hands. OU's AD worked extenuously to get OU's schedule fixed for a run at the Championship and it looks like it will pay off but there is still one game to go!

    Take care all!

that's funny as hell. i was thinking the same thing. AU had their hands full and were lucky Bama is so creative on offense they should just run the wishbone. One dimensional yet had ample opportunity to jump out to a nice lead. Spencer for hire just doesn't have it.

I had a sneaking susipicion this game would be close late last week and it proved to be so. Campbell came through in the second half and it was the difference.

Someone said AU allowed a meaningless score? How did they allow it? It woulda been real meaningless if Bama recovered an onside kick. Total garbage analysis.

AU and Tubby was happy as hell to leave with a W as any coach would have. Bama exposed a couple of weaknesses in AU this past weekend but since its the iron bowl, an all out effort by Bama's defense is expected.
