    In looking at the schedules of teams ahead of us and the prospect of beating a good team in a bowl game (e.g. 5th ranked Texas in the Cotton), LSU could end up as high as 5th ranked, and no worse than 8th overall, should we win out and win our bowl game.

    Pretty impressive finish to a season that looked in limbo at the halfway point.

    Ahh the AP sucks. We have to take a close one to Oregon St and we dropped to 5th. USC struggles somewhat to OSU and they remain #1. What made their win different not to at least drop one spot?

    A Strong finish for the Tigers helps for next year...we need to start out as high as possible next season

    Don't you know? They are USC - the greatest team in the history of college football in the toughest conference in the nation. That's why. :D

    Looks like Utah will end up in a BCS bowl, where they will promptly get their asses kicked. Nothing against the Wyomings of the world. :dis:
