And some of those penalties were fuckin bullshit. Like the PI on Stingley that set up their last TD. Saying I hate SEC officiating is not a strong enough phrase to convey my contempt and disgust for the level of incompetence we have to see week in and week out. The players work too hard freakin hard to have the game decided or put in doubt because of their ineptness.
We’ve been shafted earlier this season, but this took it to a whole new level. The Refs literally walked Auburn into the endzone on their last drive. That PI call was atrocious and without it, they don’t score.
That's true, AU was penalized a shit ton. But I don't recall any of them being PI, except the one they committed on offense. But I'm living in a fantasy world by expecting SEC officials to get the calls right. If LSU deserves or commits an obvious penalty, then call it. It's the judgement type penalties that are the most frustrating because they're so inconsistent.
Agreed, Special Teams had a sloppy/undisciplined day. Dillon and Stingley made up for early transgressions but think about how much more comfortably the lead is without those.
