Good thing you didn't open a window while speaking to him. He might've flew off.

He's probably just being contrite so we don't burn down the stadium and library again. Replenishing all the coloring books is probably taking money out of his budget.

Okay, I don't like to support this type of thing, but that made me laugh.

 Can't argue with that, my friend.

BTW, how could he tell that LSU was the hardest game they had all year? Accoridng to Tubs himself, "none of our games were close" going into the fourth quarter, so how does he differentiate between LSU and, say, Alabama?

I think the Tulane/LSU game might turn into a rivalry in the technical sense, but I don't know if it will ever truly feel like a rivalry game. At least not as long as Tulane isn't competitive. If it's just LSU smoking another inferior, smaller school's team every time, then it won't be very exciting. It won't be like the in-state rivalries of old (so I've heard/read...they were before my time).

I would actually love to see another in state school develop into a high caliber program that could at least compete with schools from a bigger conference. It makes no sense to me that with all of the young talent in Louisiana we can't support 2 schools with quality programs, without all the best players that don't go to LSU leaving the state. I would love to have a Georgia Tech type team in state...one that would put up a good fight and even have the potential to pull an upset once in a while. I think that's probably the only way a true rivalry will develop...as far as a really heated, emotional game.

Plus, although I'm an LSU grad and my first love and support goes to the Tigers, I'm also a south Louisiana native, and I'd love to see other local talent do well, and represent Louisiana well. Such as USL in Omaha a few years back. That was cool to see.

We? Who's this "we" you speak of, NoLimit?

All of us here at TF.com know the guy who really started that fire at Auburn.

(PS-Hopefully, he'll pop back up now that football's approaching.)

    2 things.

    1) I sincerely hope no one on here is gullible and stupid enough to believe that BS story, and...

    2) I was just recently thinking about how nice it was not to have a certain person on here since Miles was hired. And this certain person said he wouldn't be back until Miles was gone, so I remain hopeful. This certain person tried to call me a loser and question my support for LSU for telling him that his 36-0 LSU prediction over the next 3 years was a little unrealistic. Then he says he's going to sell his season tickets and won't be back on TF until after Miles is gone. Talk about a fair weather fan... I don't miss him or his loud, obnoxious BS one little bit.
