So what is that Curley "Nyuck, Nyuck, Nyuck" Hallman was a loser. If you are a fan of a team and their coach just led them to not only the greatest ever college football season but total domination of all opponents you would be ready to acknowledge his greatness among the pantheon of immortal coaches and put him in the LSU Hall of Fame right now. Did you spend all of your money donating to the Build Nick Saban a Statue fund?
He’s doing fine in the broadcast booth because he lost Gus(and Cam) and never replaced him with someone better. Someone else did replace his passing game coordinator with a more experienced and former NFL head coach. Maybe you can help me out with this one.
No, he lost his Heisman Trophy winning Quarterback, 2 years later he was gone. Didn't know you had that love for Chiz..
Not a one (Tulane alum). I'm not talking about people, I'm talking about TV coverage. You got one or two televised games during the day, and then on Sunday morning, you had a 1/2 hour Tulane hilite show, followed by a 1/2 hour Notre Dame hilite show (the voice of Lindsey Nelson). And that's it. Rarely saw LSU on TV, maybe the Ole Miss game, and Bama game every year. But actually got to go to Tulane games now and then. Didn't seen an LSU game live until I moved to MC.
I don’t. Chizik was not a great coach. And literally nothing you’ve said proves me wrong. Your analogy of Chizik to O is overly simplified.
I know, you said you attended Loyola. Yes, back in the 3 channel days, plus the UHF chanell, depending on rabbit ear antenna adjustment skills. LSU was not on TV often, because they employed a coach who averaged around 7 wins a season, for 18 years. This coach beat Alabama only 2 times during the 60's & 70s. Not a big TV draw.
No. You're whining because I don't like the One Hit "Oneder", like Chizik. Nothing simplified. Oeaux couldnt even score on Bama before Joe Brady from the NFL showed the grad transfer QB how to hit his receivers in stride.
