Raiders OL coach James Cregg joins Kiffin at Tennessee

It's not clear which position he will coach at UT, but most likely it will be offensive line [but it could be defensive line].

Cregg, 34, has been the Raiders’ assistant offensive line coach the past two seasons. An All-Western Athletic Conference offensive lineman at Colorado State, he began his coaching career as a graduate assistant at his alma mater from 1997 to ’99.

He has coached the defensive lines at Idaho (2004-06) and at Colgate (2000-03), helping the latter advance to the 2003 NCAA Division I-AA national championship game in Chattanooga’s Finley Stadium.

Ed Orgeron is expected to become associate head coach and defensive line coach at Tennessee.
--Los Angeles Daily News, Dec 18

    Interview with Sean Payton:
Do you think you’ll have Ed Orgeron here next season?
“I think so...I think in the end he’ll be with us.”
So you don’t think he’s going to Tennessee?
“If I thought he was, I wouldn’t have said I think he’s going to be with us.”

    --Monroe News Star, Dec 18

It appears that former Ole Miss coach Ed Orgeron will join Kiffin as recruiting coordinator.

At this point I think it's a whole lot of speculation without much credible information.

A lot of signs are pointing to Coach O. joining LSU's staff.

    We shall see.

The only signs pointing at the Ogre are ones that contain dollar signs.

    Tennessee has offered him.

New Orleans wants to keep him.

    LSU seems to want him.

He is still waiting to see if someone will offer him a DC gig. In the end he will go were the biggest bag of this is: [IMG]

The Ogre has apparently been offered a nice raise to stay with the Saints.

The O is also waiting on a possible DC offer from Syracuse. Tennessee may be slipping down his list unless they bring a bigger bag of money. Its wearing on Kiffin's patience.

Im not regurgitating info from a pay site. This is coming from someone at Tenn who would know.
