LSU obviously made adjustments and Clemson didn't for whatever reason on defense. Part of me also thinks that LSU ran the same plays over and over, right fade to Jamar. I believe they had Chase in man, and they recognized that and just said fuck it. Our guy can beat yours probably 50% of the time, and 100% of the time will ensure its at worst an incomplete pass. Win
The key was moving Clyde out wide so it would force Clemson to show their hand on defense. The rest was history, as they say.
