He can say whatever he wants as long as it helps him get into the game. Hell, He can go out and say his team is better than LSU for all I care as long as it sways some votes away from Bama.

 

You are right. He was just trying to make a point that an LSU-OSU matchup would be more "interesting" to watch than an LSU-Bama rematch. No way to know that other than going on past history in the 11/5 game. Gotta use this argument to help sway voters. Must use other arguments as well about quality wins and being conference champs.

 

Exactly, he had to lobby in order to try and convince the voters to vote them in to the BCS.

 

Yeah I get it. He said what he was supposed to say. I'm all for it. Eff Bama and the rematch they dont deserve.

Hey, I thought about this earlier, the Okie State Cowboys are undefeated in regulation and are conference champions. The Gumps keep bringing it up, throw out Bama and Okie State's loss and you have two undefeated teams with one being conference champions.
