a thrashing of Missouri, Ole Miss and now Arkansas 0-0 tie against Bama nearly halfway in the 4th quarter Bama appears they will beat everyone else by at least 3 scores including the playoffs I wrote him off last week, but if we thrash Florida (likely) and A&M (likely), I do believe he will get the job.
When is the last time we played Arkansas on the road and blew them out the water? Not during Miles tenure, that's for sure.
Remember the pure butt-whipping we put on Auburn in 2011? I've got a feeling something like that's coming for Florida next week.
Here's my thing and I don't know if it's fair or not due to the fact that you can't really change the offense midseason. If LSU gets put in a game where the run gets shut down, this team right here will lose the game because the passing game is only effective or efficient when the run is working. Can Orgeron change that? I'm not sure if he can or can't.
EXACTLY!!! When we play teams with a horrible defense, like tonight, we can run it at will and don't have to rely on a passing game. But when we play good teams, like last week, we're exposed and we lose. I think LSU needs an offensive minded head coach that realizes you need a passing game to go with a running game.
I concur, but Eaux isn't going down without a fight. Very commendable. The worst thing for him is he is auditioning for a head coaching job elsewhere, because someone is certainly going to hire him.
He has a TE coach running the offense. I feel comfortable with our ability to get a good OC. This was a strong win against Arkansas.
