But just watch...when Cameron fixes the offense, Les will get none of the credit. The delusional will spout on about how he finally "got out of the way" and let his coordinators do everything for him. They'll follow this by going on and on about how we wouldn't have lost a game in the last five years with literally anyone else on our sideline.

Funny thing about that is I remember a read on him that showed he did the SAME thing at one or two other programs. Almost paralleled what happened here.

On another note. As to the offensive woes, as much as most of us strained to watch it (myself included) it escapes me how Jordan Jefferson could have piled up the following:
Maybe some of those come from the fact that we play more games now but he was also suspended for several games too. Go figure.

I have spoken personally to several insiders who have told me this is the most hands-off they've ever seen Les with the offense. Delusional is being so in love with Les that you refuse to see reality, even when it's been placed in front of you in black and white.

The offensive statistics speak for themselves even with a 1 year anomaly.

Maybe not but he's definitely a clock-eater. Not that it's a bad thing, and not disagreeing with anything you're saying, just stating something that could contribute to that.

It's been hard to watch him waste so much offensive talent on 1974 Big Ten style offensive coaching. There's a time for eating clock, unfortunately Les thinks it's from opening kickoff.

As long as Saban is winning championships at Alabama, there is always going to be a large portion of the base who thinks Les is a blithering idiot riding the coattails of the best coach who ever lived.

As long as we're competing for championships, fans will sell out TS and buy merch, Les makes his money, and nobody will care who gets credit for what.

How many bama QB's are starting in the NFL? Right now, there are around 55 former LSU players on NFL teams, maybe LSU is NFLU? Mett will be on an NFL team next year.

Nick Saban has never been the best qb evaluator.

Funny...I was just thinking the same thing.

Personally, I think it makes sense that he's more hands-off. Cameron is a much more proven commodity. Wouldn't you stay on top of employees that you were even a little unsure of?

I'm also laughing at the "in love with Les" comment. I'm in love with his results, and that's the bottom line. He is a very effective coach who's only real detraction is the fact that he's a little slow on the trigger when it comes to personnel changes.

Honestly, the only thing keeping him from being a multi-national championship coach is little Nicky back east. And that's what this all comes down to. Those that hate Les only hate him because they see Nicky lifting crystals and they dream about "what could have been". Well...get over it. We had him, and he was only slightly better than mediocre. "The stats speak for themselves even with a 1 year anomaly".
