Guess you don’t watch Morning Joe @Rex. The story is confirmed and ain’t going away. This is being confirmed by multiple sources. HRC’s subversion of the DNC began within months of the declaration of her candidacy. Legal? Who knows IDC but slimy as can be. Shows she wasn’t worthy of your devotion......or the presidency.
There has been so much in-fighting within the Repulican party and coupled with the daily shock value of Trump's presidency, little attention has been paid to the troubles within the Democratic party. Brazille's article yesterday detailing how the Clinton camp effectively took over the DNC illustrates just how much in-fighting is going on with Democrats right now. Keep in mind that Donna Brazille was supposedly the culprit who passed along primary debate questions to HRC from her then-post at CNN. The fact that Brazille would come out so strongly with these accusations is telling of what is transpiring behind the scenes. This also comes just a week after there was a blood bath of turnover at the DNC. Going back a few months Keith Ellison and Tom Perez had a pretty brutal battle for the DNC chair that ended with Perez and Ellison trying to show unity but there is little doubt that the party is anything but unified along several ideological lines. My guess about HRC taking over the DNC is that the DNC was already a limping dog after Obama. For all of his campaign and fundraising prowess, Obama did little to share his coffers with the party in a way that previous candidates had. It was one reason that down-ballot Dem candidates didn't fare better in some cases and cost Obama in the way of legislative votes for much of his Presidency. Obama's theory was always that down ballot candidates could kind of ride his coat tails since he was such an effective campaigner and communicator. This story sounds like Clinton propped up the DNC because she had to. Now, in turn weaponzing the party in her favor against Sanders is nothing more than a shrewd political play by the Clinton's which should surprise no one even though I find it morally reprehensible and a subversion of the democratic process. All of this said, Trump and his minions have been grasping for weeks to try and find something......anything about anyone else that they can point to as an attempted distraction from what is now a full blow scandal that looks increasingly like it will be the demise of this Presidency, whether by a criminal means or politically. So this story about Clinton is another black eye on the Clinton campaign (as if it needed any more) but that is all. Perhaps no dead horse has been more thoroughly beaten than the 2016 HRC campaign.
Fair point @Tiger in NC. This story does nothing to take away from Trump’s bad acts nor should it be used to shield his actions. TRUMP WILL FALL DUE TO HIS OWN FAILURES. However that doesn’t mean it should be ignored and dismissed. The democrats are supposed to be an alternative to Trumpism and if so they need to be fully vetted. This and other examples show the democrats are no more a viable source of leadership than Trump or the republicans. To use this to shield Trump is wrong....to ignore it because of Trump is just as wrong.
Besides I’ve really enjoyed Rexie’s misery. He deserves every bit of fire as he’s been a total troll since he joined.
Its far more damaging than anyone wants to give it credit. This entire year we have heard the likes of the left tell us our election system was under attack by Russia. Well, it was under attack by democrats too and they are now blowing it off saying, "Keep focusing on Trump"...
Brazile's allegation is incorrect. She confuses two joint financing agreements.... the first in August 2015 with no such control language, as was one signed by Bernie two months later, and then a second on June 9, 2016 after Hillary won the primaries. This CNN story of June 16, 2016 reports Hillary's new takeover of the DNC: http://www.cnn.com/2016/06/16/politics/hillary-clinton-campaign-dnc/index.html Brazile came on board in July 2016. The Brazile story is bunk, and several of you here owe Hillary a big apology (and not for just this LATEST bit of false allegation).
Distracting? Who's distracting? I'm the only one here who actually took the time to look into the matter for validity. Brazile's allegation is incorrect.
