Then don't. The Richard Clark book is a must read because Clark was in charge of the terrorism under both presidents, has backed up his story with documents, and testified under oath before the 9/11 Commission, who backed his story. But there are other accounts out there. You should read them all. It won't take long to tell which are being factual and which are being speculative.
I thought Dick Morris had a view good column in the Hill on Wallace's "little hatchet job" on Clinton. The pointing of the finger is a tell-take sign with Clinton that he is lying. Good column from a guy that knows both of the Clinton's very well. One more point, Clinton lies when he says Richard Clarke was demoted under Bush. Clark says in his book he was not demoted but wanted to change to be over Cyber-Terrorism. He requested the change.....just FYI. Clinton's mad and will always be mad that his legacy is getting a hummer from a tranny.....sorry, but that's the case and no matter what kind of spin he puts on his time in office, a hummer-boy is all he is. http://thehill.com/thehill/export/TheHill/Comment/DickMorris/092606.html
thats the problem with clinton, he can get real serious and point his finger and go nuts and be as adamant as anything about something, but you still have no idea if he is lying or not, he has proven he just donest really care about the truth, he cares about his image.

wow, a link to "http://home.att.net/~jrhsc/jobwelldone.html" i bet at&t dsl customer "jrhsc" is an outstanding journalist, not just some dude with a computer who loves clinton.
 I noticed you didn't challenge any of his facts! Kind of a lame response from some dude with a computer who loves Bush. :dis:
there was no point. another of the guy's websites was "quotes by awesome democrats" or something. the economy made a downturn at the end of clinton's terms because he was stupidly running a surplus, overtaxing us and doing his best to screw the economy. only i the swift advancement of the internet and technology saved him from a legacy of economic destruction. those claims are ludicrous. clinton didnt help create any peace in the middle east, i dont even know if that is possible. he definitely didnt do a damn thing towards regime change in iraq. that whole list is pulled out of some dude's ass. what clinton really did, and sourdough is dead on about this, is embolden terrorists by withdrawing from somalia. he said to every jackass with an ak-47 worldwide "if you just kill enough americans, you will get what you want". thats the clinton legacy, a show of weakness, precisely when we needed the opposite. and that is what you would expect from clinton, who cares far more about public perception than strategy. he could never stomach an unpopular but correct course of action.
Translation: I refuse to recognize indisputable facts if those facts undermine my desire to believe that something is true. Translation: I cannot refute any facts listed above. What you don't understand about Somalia is immense. Clinton kept troops in Somalia for six months after the "Black Hawk Down" battle in Mogadishu, despite criticism from congressional Republicans who urged an immediate withdrawal. We left after accomplishing our mission in Somalia which was protecting the food aid programs from renegade warlords. They weren't Al Qaida terrorists. We had no mission to subdue, conquer, or otherwise babysit the civil war that was going on in Somalia, only to protect our NGO's and allies on the ground. Reagan was smart when he withdrew from Lebanon in '83 to avoid a guerriila quagmire in a country that had nothing we needed. Bush 41 was smart when he withdrew from Iraq in '91 for the same reason. And Clinton was smart to withdraw from Somalia. Those rags had nothing we wanted and offered only a guerilla war that we did not need to fight, in a civil war where we favored none of the sides. We left them to stew in their own despair and there they sit to this day. If those miserable bastards starving in Somalia are an inspiration to anyone they are fools.
Very interesting... What did Clinton say during the interview on Fox News? http://www.fas.org/irp/congress/2004_cr/s032604.html [[Page S3208]] The first point, I think the overall point is, there was no plan on Al Qaeda that was passed from the Clinton administration to the Bush administration. No plan. Mr. Clarke's words: Second point is that the Clinton administration had a strategy in place, effectively dating from 1998. And there were a number of issues on the table since 1998. And they remained on the table when that administration went out of office--issues like aiding the Northern Alliance in Afghanistan, changing our Pakistan policy, changing our policy towards Uzbekistan. And in January 2001, the incoming Bush administration was briefed on the existing strategy. They were also briefed on these series of issues that had not been decided on in a couple of years. Mr. Clarke continues, using his exact words:
