    You have zero proof Red.

You default to IPCC reports and never offer original critical thought.

The earth evolved before it. The earth evolved after it. Your point is unclear. How have I denied evolution?

And we are well on our way. The difference is that we have some control over human CO2.

I don't have to. The facts are in evidence and I have cited them time and time again. I have shot down denial arguments time and time again.

What critical thought have you offered here? You got nuthin', amigo.

The only thing in denial is that you actually think we can cool the planet.

IPCC doesn't even make that claim.

When have I said that? Never. You don't know what I think. What I have said is that humans can reduce the carbon that humans generate to keep warming from increasing on the steep gradient that it is on now.

Pride, it doesn't matter what Red or I or you or anyone else says....the science states that humans are contributing to CO2 levels. Defaulting to published scientific reports should not be a knock on Red. He is presenting scientifically gathered data that is relevant to the times. If you want proof consider this: In the past ten years natural gas has been slowly replacing coal on the east coast. As a result CO2 levels have been reduced because natural gas is a cleaner burning fuel than coal. Maybe we cannot completely reverse the effects of climate change or perhaps we suffer from the "ant on the beach ball syndrome" but you cannot deny the facts: the climate is changing....and to some degree or another we humans are contributing to it. I am not one of these alarmists who say we should totally abandon all fossil fuels, etc. but we owe it to ourselves and, more so, future generations to take steps toward alternative forms of energy and in the mean time explore all the possibilities to find the cleanest burning fossil fuels.

    C02 is not the point.

It is not my fault you and Red are incapable of critical thought to this.

I will state this very clearly: A failed solution is not a solution at all.

It would take EVERY country on the planet to make any meaningful difference.

    THAT WILL NOT HAPPEN..

Why is this hard for you two?

Nothing we do in the US will CHANGE anything. Not a single thing other than allow you two to be happy.....

    @ Tiger....

C02 levels have increased year to year even with the move to Nat Gas.. Why is that? Very simple. The climate doesn't revolve around the US.

Populations will increase and live longer all due to the burning of fossil fuels. You cannot stop this no matter how much you think you can.

Go ahead and tax emissions, you will do nothing but make energy more expensive.

It would take every human to make a dent.

Even then we need fossil fuels to live.

Again, you have zero meaningful solutions...

    Do the math.

30 years (at most) on real study of a climate that has existed 55+ million years...

    Just do the math.

Your better off building the death star than getting billions of people to agree on a single goal.
