Anyone know where this supposedly happened ... BR or NO casinos? It is a crime to enter a casino underage, even if the casino knew he was underage. Won't be hard to verify since they have cameras everywhere.
Basically he had a funny 20...when the cashier at the store checked it it didn't check out so he got another real deal and she gave the funny one back. No casino involved I don't think. Sounds like he picked it up in change somewhere. I've seen that happen quite alot. As far as a college student not having 40 bucks you guys never gave plasma did you? :hihi:
In college me and a couple buddies would get wasted and wander down to the casinos. Half the time they would check our IDs and laugh at us. But sometimes they would let you walk right in if you acted like you knew what you were doing. Once you're on the boat your fine. Unless you win big... then you might be in some trouble.
My Dad got a fake 20 from the bank one time... As far as I know, he's not involved with any counterfeiting ring.
Guess that's what makes this so puzzling to me. Seems like this has turned into a really big deal over such a minor thing that happens all the time. I use to work for bank many years ago and we received numerous counterfeit bills over the years. We'd take the customer info and, along with the counterfeit bills, send it to the secret service. They would eventually get around to interviewing the customer, but it wasn't a huge deal. Guess being the backup LSU QB makes it a big deal.
