Ryan's particulars aside, think about that comment a second. Were I 20 years old and passing counterfeit $100 bills or laundering money at a casino, there would be a fake ID involved. Again, I am not speaking about what Ryan may or may not have done, but the feasibility of the situations mentioned.
RP isnt "a young and naive black kid" anymore. he's the former #1 fb recruit and future LSU qb. doesnt have as much juice as OJ did :hihi: , but theyre gonna be more careful than they would for tyrone washington.
Guys, I don't have a source or link I can reveal ... I'm as frustrated as you are about the lack of information on this, but I do know he is (alledgedly) involved in the following: The investigation concerns 8-10 people involved in a counterfeiting ring. RP is one of them, and he is the only lsu football player. His role was as a courier for the counterfeit money. He has hired Nathan Fisher, a prominent (and expensive) criminal defense attorney in the area. Whatever's going on, it's real and it's serious. I don't expect anyone to believe a forum post, but you will be reading about this in the paper soon. Our QB situation/depth has gone from stellar to shaky in 3 days. Jarrett Lee better be throwing in his backyard ... a redshirt is unlikely.
Oh no. Looks like CLM said he'll kick RP off the team if he finds out he was involved: http://www.nola.com/sports/t-p/index.ssf?/base/sports-28/1168501546110410.xml&coll=1
If that is the case, that would be the most stupid thing he could do; makes no sense that he would jeopardize his potential NFL future for such short gains, if any. I don't like the smell of it if he has to hire a criminal attorney; why waste money if you are in the clear? Wonder if LSU should fed ex the playbook to Jarrett Lee for a sneak preview?
Well, if he was mfg. the counterfeit money, then I could see it....but if he acted as a courier, then I don't think he should be kicked off the team..especially if he doesn't go to jail. Here is the quote: "(Miles) said that if (Perrilloux) had been implicated in any way, he'd be gone, but that he was satisfied (Perrilloux) was not,"
