I didn't say that it was routine to be investigated by the feds. I said that the feds routinely "talk tough" to people that are under investigation. There's a a difference between the two things.
From what I read, he was implying that you don't hire an attorney unless you were involved in the crime. What I was trying to say was that you can be involved in an investigation without being involved in the crime.:thumb: I may have misunderstood, but then I'm chronically sleep deprived these days.
I agree. They will say and do anything to get the info they want. They scare and intimidate people. Fear the black suits. But I'm not sure what that has to do with RP. Whether he is a target or just a guy they getting info from, it sounds like he may have put himself in a bad situation. Just hope it all works out...
Totally agree with you. And if RP isn't directly involved but likes to hang out with people who do this kind of thing, let's hope someone straightens him out. We don't need that kind of BS affecting the team.
GGH, I stand corrected on my previous post, #91. I understand what you were saying now, and I will read carefully. That being said, I would consider someone standing at my door with a government title asking questions to be something wrong, and would hire an attorney even if I KNEW they were wrong, as you and your husband did. Sorry for the accusation.:thumb:
Ever hear of the "War" on drugs? RP is a young and naive black kid. If there is anyone in this world who needs a lawyer it is him. Remember, lawyers are also there to make sure that the prosecuting authorities are doing their job by the book. My brother is a US Attorney - he is sometimes shocked by what people will admit to investigators.
My wife just called me and told me that the news is reporting that RP was arrested for using conterfeit $100 bills at the casino. I told her it was probably a rumor becuase he hasnt been arrested and is only being questioned by authorities. I also heard it might be his cousin who is in troble for this therefore linking RP to the fraud.
Isn't Ryan Perriloux only 20. How is he getting into casinos in the first place? They id everyone who looks close to 21.
No sh!t, that was what I was thinking. Unless LSU players get preferential treatment, in which case it shouldn't be Ryan's fault if the casino let him in a place where he is forbode to enter--by law--I don't see how the whole casino thing is holding water.
