The Harris/AJ battle is similar to what went on with the D last year between Beckwith/Welter. One has a better understand of what is going on. The other has the pure talent to make plays, the other can't. Let them learn on the job, the best way to learn. Each puts you in a better place to win, than the other. If AJ were a better passer, I could understand going with him. But he has regressed a lot.

The alternative is putting him out there and letting the entire fanbase turn on him like they did Jarrett Lee when Harris fails, and he would have failed. The LSU fanbase didn't start liking Lee again until Jefferson started stinking the place up.

I think he would have failed miserably and this fanbase would hate him. And would still be calling Miles a stubborn idiot buffoon who can't handle a program like LSU who has no idea what he is doing etc etc same shit we hear today.

QB is a lot different than Mike linebacker.

No, I think if we saw that BOTH Jennings and Harris were bad, most would just look to next year.

They way its handled now, everyone is left to wonder what Harris can do.

Rouxleaux Do I get bonus points if I act like I care?

And he (AJ) is supposedly the "better QB at practice".

Guys, this is like carrying your lower leg into an ER and asking to be treated for a cough. The issue is we are a perennial contender, WHY don't we have a QB?

We already know the answer(s) to that question. First Miles wants a RB that can throw the ball. Second he is horrible at evaluating QBs. Third he is horrible at developing QBs. Finally his offensive philosophy is an anchor around a QBs neck. All of this leads to Miles being horrible recruiting QBs.
