What is this a lynch mob? Yes, "controversy", you know where two sides hold opposing views. I didn't know using the word "controversy" would create such a -- controversy. Oh, and I had no idea Coach Miles and his staff may know a few things, but I'm glad I had you to point that out for me.:dis:
:rolleye33: You can post whatever you like, and I can call you on your self-important bullsh!t. That's what makes these boards fun! You have no idea if there's a real controversy because you have no idea if those who really know what they're talking about and have influence on this decision disagree on this. And if you had any respect for CLM's expertise and recruiting savvy, you wouldn't be saying it's a controversy in the first place. Yep - frisky. Where are my shoulder pads?
bottom line, is if CLM wants to take another RB...Take Christine. Don't wait around for another Pratt, Ford, or Richardson type back that may opt for another team in the end. Close out the need at that position, with a 5 star player. If CLM dose not want another RB, then I'm fine with Ford, and Pratt.
We don't need another RB in this class, but we're willing to make an exception. We'd make an exception for Richardson, but not for Michael.
I guess Richardson, makes the Class look better that Christine will...But, It's not a smart deal, for a Coach to turn down a 5 star player in his own backyard. There are two skilled positions, you can never have enough depth, WR and RB. Lets not forget that many WR we've signed, didn't make the grades. Kids in the Houston, and Beaumont area, dream of playing for LSU. Most of the kids here, are from LA, or have family from LA. We are talking about two players that have a Senior season yet to play. But from video's of highlights and summer camps...I think CM's ability to catch balls out of the back field, and run routes, makes his a superior recruit.
