I've said all along that I'm very very high on Michael, but I just don't think he brings anything different to the table over Pratt & Ford. I still think that, but considering he appears to be LSU's if we want him, he may be too talented to pass up.[/quote]

I read the glowing reports from the Florida camp he attended. The kid did it all smoothly, caught the ball well, etc. He is rated #1 in the open field by Rivals while Richardson is rated in terms of inside running ability. I don't understand what different ability he isn't bringing to the table. I originally took your comments and others to mean that we were looking for a quicker, faster, speedster that could catch well out of the backfield. A third-down type of back if you will, but now I am a bit perplexed because it seems Michael can do these things. Pratt is a bulldozing monster, I understand. Ford seems to be an all around back. What are we looking for? I say take Christine. With a name like that he has to be tough! Same philosophy as in Johnny Cash's "Boy named Sue" song.

I think we want more of a "scat back" or a more elusive back in the open field. Ford & Pratt are both great at catching out of the backfield, but they aren't fluid Murphy-type RB's.

We'll see how he does at camp, and if he is a part of this class it will be because he was just too talented to pass up. Personally, I don't expect that to be the case.

I'm more than happy with the 2 we have, and I don't see a need for 3 in this class.

Michael is putting himself in position to be a "must take".

And I think he wants to be a Tiger. So watch out these next few weeks how LSU handles this situation.

I wonder if Pratt would mind being a LB or a FB? Maybe even a TE in the Dickson mold? If CM were to come on board, there's a few possibilities there, I think.

I hope so. I'm as excited about Pratt at running back as any RB recruit we have signed in several years. He has it all, size, power, speed, and moves, if his videos are indicative or his college potential.

Pratt is all RB. Make no doubt about that. And he will be a dandy.

Christine is take a long hard look at LSU now, as per his last interview. I think ever since his visit after the A&M decommit, he's had a hard-on for LSU. I think he pulls the trigger, if we want him.
Another thing about him, he's been showing his skill set at slot and catching balls out of the flat, at recent camps. We have Ford who is a true hard nose RB, and Dexter Pratt, who is all RB with a different style...more Alley Broussard. Christine Micheal can play many positions...I for one think he'd be a great slot receiver. He has great vision, for end-arounds and flanker screens. His body type is similar to Adrian Peterson...hows that for a comparison?
