Are there any reports alluding to his scholarship being pulled or are we just speculating? Because that just doesn't make any sense to me. The guy has never once been in the press or even the rumor mill for anything. Now suddenly he gets his scholarship pulled? We have let non critical players, that never cracked the 3 deep, stick around why run off a QB? It's not like we have QBs to burn.
as far as i know, it is speculation. which is why i said if his scholly was pulled. and if it was, given how important a third qb is, i cannot believe the reason wasnt big.
I read elsewhere that the family was sent a certified letter from LSU saying the scholarship wouldn't be renewed.

it seems to be very poor form to rescind a scholarship just a few weeks away from the fall semester. hope they had a real good reason.
I saw this coming from a mile away. I actually cryptically alluded to it before ( I didn't want to say CG's name). Chris Garrett was pi$$ed that JJ was the annointed starter and he felt as if he wasn't even given a chance to compete. He dog cussed CLM and even said that CLM lost the team. CG has been an unhappy camper for quite some time.
if that is the case, sounds like his ego was bigger than his brain. unhappy or not, that is not how you handle it. that kind of attitude is what infects a team.
