This is true. Another bright spot is that, of the 38 completions, I think they only had 1 or 2 over 20 yards.
It's a valid concern. I'm disappointed in several areas of the game. I guess were all just incredibly spoiled to be disappointed with a big win against a ranked team. On a positive note: player of the game - Wing!
Radio might have been better color commentary than tv! I think we missed at least two plays and possibly three to piss poor camera work and listening to Urban Meyer.
I agree with Islstl and McTiger.... I think WV's offense is probably one of the best if not the best, much better than Oregon. I don't think we will face another offense like that again unless we play them in the national championship game or someone similar. I say let all the SEC teams try and run a scheme they aren't familiar with if they want to try and challenge our defense, they will turn the ball over, WV 4 LSU 0 I believe in that category. I don't think this is a recipe for success at all, WV still lost this game and only scored 21 points. I will point out that we could have easily scored 14 more points in this game, the td that wasn't and then we played real conservative the beginning of the second half. That is one reason why our defense gave up so many yards, not sure time of possession the second half but I bet that WV probably dominated in that along with yardage. A credit to WV, they played there hearts out and so did our guys. I love this LSU team, very little weakness on this team, maybe offense and conservative play calling at times.
I just hate that Chavis sold out on stopping the big play. We pretty much gave them underneath all night. Our D line got next to no pressure. HOWEVER, 3 difficult road games and 80% of our D is young. LB's was a weakness and we all new this and it got attacked all night. Good win....
This is not a new offense, there are teams that play against this stuff all the time, putting the QB on the ground 12 times in one night can work too. Nothing deep??? Might want to check that again.
