if you go to Robert's bar on Calhoun St uptown you can find a twenty + year old bottle of Mateuse wine, I'm sure it's putrid by now... long story... On the Cuban Cigar front, I had a couple nice ones while on a cruise to the Caribean this March - I still say alot of the Dominican products are better for the money than most of the Cubans due to what Castro has done by bastardizing the Cuban Tobacco Industry with over working the soil, and running off all the best cigar makers
Yep, count me in as bi-fowl too. I like it all, as long as it is fried right. Plus, I like fried chicken livers. The latest issue of Southern Living magazine has an article on a restaurant in the French Quarter called Fiorello's. Says it has some of the best fried chicken in the South. Anyone ever been there?
