What branch of government is the Office of the Vice President of the United States of America contained under?

Quick! Look over there at that man behind the tree!

Every time one of your republican heroes gets caught defying the Constitution, you can bet ol' Sourdough will be screaming "Bill Clinton", "Sandy Berger" . . . "That Guy".

We are not fools and we will not be distracted.

Utter Nonsense. Man, you are really slobbing Cheney's knob today. But since you wrote at 10:44 on a Saturday night, probably you are simply drunk. A child could shoot down your statement that Cheney does nothing, is not relevant, s not a part of the Executive Branch, and therefore can ignore Congress and the Constitution.

Senior Senators have referred to Cheney's actions as "Nixonian Stonewalling". He figures he can drag these investigations out until he is out of office.

I think the Senate should subpoena him on the Gonzales Scandal. All the President's Men so far have ignored Congressional subpoenas, claiming Executive Privilege (even though that only applies to the Executive himself, not his minions). See how fast Cheney claims executive privilege like he has before. He wants it both ways.

He illegally used Republican party email to conduct government business and those emails have been lost, unfortunately. He illegally disposed of records that he was supposed to keep. He illegally marks routine papers TOP SECRET and tried to abolish the office that oversees this. It goes on and on.

    Why? BECAUSE HE'S HIDING SOMETHING!!

It will all come out in the end, but they will use these tactics to drag it out past the 2008 elections.

I will admit you would be right if we were talking about Ronald Reagan.
He was one president I would sacrifice my life for and probably the only one in recent memory.

Not in this case however, I am no George Bush fan or Cheney for that matter.
They are not my heroes, quite the opposite, I have gone out of my way the last 6 months or so and criticized this administraton.

I'm not a fool either, you still haven't criticized one person on the left while blasting anyone on the right and that makes you no moderate imho.
You and I may share some views however time and time again in this forum since I have been here, 2003, you have criticized the right and not the left unless I say something and then you call Ted Kennedy a drunk.
    Thats that! (yawn) bored look!

You haven't been paying attention, Daddy-O. I have criticised people on the left--Ted Kennedy, Kathleen Blanco, Ray Nagin, Lyndon Johnson, etc. And I have praised (and voted for) people on the right--Reagan, John McCain, Bush 41, Bobby Jindal, etc.

You keep missing the vital point--this is current events. The conservatives are in power right now and doing a horrible job. Cheney is their bellweather and they deserve their criticism. Bitching about Clinton or Carter or George Friggin' Washington is irrelevant to the issue! It's past news suitable for a discussion about Vietnam or Gulf War One or the Cold War. But they don't mean a damn to this war.

With all respect to Paul McCartney, I don't believe in Yesterday. I believe in Today and Tomorrow.

My bad, I didn't realize the conservatives were still in charge of congress and doing a horrible job btw, you keep missing the point that Congress ratings are in the tank and lower than W.

I do believe in yesterday, it keeps you from making the same mistakes you did yesterday so that you don't make them today and tomorrow!:yelwink2:

Because of Dubya's war, the polls also say. Half the Congress is still Republican . . . the half that is following George Bush over the cliff!

If Dubya and Rummy had only read McNamara's book, they could have avoided Vietnam II!
