    Great news that the storm has weakened significantly. The latest at 11PM, has Freeport at 41%. That puts winds at 80-90 mph in Houston.

    MAX SUSTAINED WINDS 120 KT WITH GUSTS TO 145 KT (WEAKENED)


    A direct hit on Freeport spares Houston. Even better would be a landing below Freeport around Port O'Connor that would put lesser winds in Houston. Good news is that it looks like Houston is gonna luck out!
