    I am really wondering about Chief. I know we have a lot of talented athletes on defense. If their lack of experience makes playing Chief's defense impossible, why can't our high-paid DC come up with something to take advantage of their attributes and minimize their weaknesses better than this?

    You don't have to be God to recognize that your zone defense has blown the lead in the last 4 losses and that you have to mix it up and be more aggressive. When the same thing continues to not work you try something else.

    I too blame the loss of talent rather than blame chief. But he needs to get guys in position to maximize their potential. I think he is trying.

    I'm much more pissed off watching Louis playing MLB like a beast in the last half of the 4th quarter and you wasted the position on Welter for the other 3 1/2 quarters.

    Get the best people on the field to begin with. That's the starting point. Scheme won't work if you have two players like Welter and Loston on the field. You're at a 2 man disadvantage automatically.
