Besides, UT sucked last year but still had a top 5 nationally ranked defense with lesser personnel then we have... we've already seen our defense improve over his 1st season here... betcha our D is even better next season.
I can't see Chavis making a move. Look at the talent he has coming up, look at the signing class for 2010 and 11, look at Miles record vs. Richt. The only advantage to going to Ga. is you only have to beat Fla. and Tenn. to win the east. In the west, you have to beat Bama, Auburn, and Ole Miss. I think the west is a little deeper. Only other factor is if he doesn't like Miles. My bet, Chavis stays.
Two of my good friends are UGA nuts and the word around athens is bama DC (cant remember is name) will be named DC after the BCS Championship. I think he happened to play at UGA. So, might make sense as to why they aint hired one.
Yeah...try to point out the bright side and, yes, you need sunglasses. We all know the negatives but it's not as extreme as some try to make it. Extremists have their own forum now. :hihi: I can understand if someone goes after Chavis but to use "If Michigan does this then Miles does that" is a dumb analogy. If a man takes off because he "thinks" this might happen he would never sit in a job more than 6 months.
Is Chavis good for next year? UGA is looking for a new DC. I read they were high on Vic Koenning (Clemson), but the guy took the job a U. Ill. Jim Donnan (sp.?) has thrown Coach Chavis' name in the hat as someone UGA should seriously consider? Is there a possibility that Chavis could be looking around for a chance to get close to home? ldskule:
